The community of Vrin, located at the furthest reaches of the Val Lumnezia, is small, but it follows its own unique path: economically, socially, and architecturally. What do the people do there? The film tells of a special kind of persistence and self-will. At the center is the architect Gion A. Caminada, the true spiritus rector of this unique community. Caminada, born in Vrin, continues to operate his office there - despite his international reputation.
